01Accepting these terms
By accessing this website or engaging with Streams of Love Initiative (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our website or services. If you are entering into an arrangement on behalf of a care home or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
02About our services
Streams of Love Initiative is a non-profit initiative that delivers music, spoken word, and interactive sessions to elderly people and individuals with disabilities in care settings. Our sessions are creative and social in nature and are provided on a best-efforts, goodwill basis. They are not medical, therapeutic, or clinical treatment, and they do not replace professional care.
We work with care homes and community partners to schedule visits. The specifics of each session — timing, format, and content — are agreed directly between us and the hosting partner.
03Donations
Donations to Streams of Love Initiative are voluntary gifts made to support our mission. Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- Donations are non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of clear error.
- No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation, other than the knowledge that you are supporting our work.
- Where a donation is eligible for Gift Aid, we will apply it in line with HMRC rules on your instruction.
- We do not process card payments on this website; payment details are arranged privately and securely.
04Conduct & safeguarding
The dignity and safety of the people we serve always come first. We ask that everyone who interacts with our work — partners, volunteers, staff, and visitors — treats residents, staff, and one another with respect and kindness.
- All volunteers are subject to background checks and training before entering a care setting.
- We reserve the right to decline, pause, or end a session or partnership where safeguarding, conduct, or safety is a concern.
- Hosting partners remain responsible for the care and supervision of their residents at all times.

06Your contributions
When you send us a message, testimonial, or feedback, you grant us permission to use that content to respond to you and, where appropriate and with your consent, to share it (for example, a kind word about a session). You confirm that what you share is accurate and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
07Third-party links
Our website links to and embeds content from third-party platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those platforms, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
08Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
09Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect how our initiative evolves or to comply with legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the revised terms.
